I wanted to create a book with loose pages that could be removed, reorganized, and added to. I created this piece for my best friend of fifteen years, Lindsay Schneider. Since the two of us were very young we always had a sketchbook that was passed back and forth to one other. It was my goal, with this piece, to create an elegant version of our old sketchbooks that could be expanded upon after the gift was given. The loose graphite drawings inside depict all of the stories and inside jokes we have accumulated over the years.
